Balance and Vestibular Problems

Balance and Vestibular problems are evaluated different ways at Balanced Body Physical Therapy. Your evaluation typically includes:
- Interview and health history discussion
- Computerized testing that evaluates your ability to stand in regular stance, stride, single leg standing, and tandem standing
- Sit then stand testing
- Walk testing and gait observation
- Vestibular examination

The Biodex Balance System is highly rated and used in some of the most advanced rehabilitation centers around the world. Patient Education
Patient Education is critical to your success as a patient at Balanced Body Physical Therapy. Our goal is not to schedule endless visits for you; rather, we want to improve your pain and range of motion while teaching you how to manage your condition after therapy. Expect us to provide training brochures and one-on-one time at every appointment to help accomplish this objective.
